Stool with Four Feet

The design of this stool was a response to the nature of the wood -- a large, heavy oak board, strong grained and knotted. Every surface is curved to imitate the grain and this sense of movement is reflected in the feet and legs which, pressed down by the weight they carry, turn in different directions, giving the whole piece an animated feeling.
